Apprenticeship Delivery & Industry Support Services to Host Industry Engagement Meeting on Foreign Credential Recognition

Apprenticeship and Industry Training is expanding our Foreign Credential Recognition program as one of the ways to support Alberta companies in addressing the shortage of skilled labour many of you and your member companies are facing. AIT is inviting you to participate in an engagement session with us so that we can gather feedback on which designated trades we should target and which areas of the world may provide training that most closely aligns with the training provided in Alberta.

The meeting will take place online (via Teams) on January 17, 2024 from 2pm-3pm. If you feel that someone else in your organization would be a more suitable fit for this meeting, please send me their name and contact information and I will reach out to invite them. I will send out a Teams invitation for this meeting shortly.

As always, we greatly appreciate your feedback on issues supporting designated trades and apprenticeship training in Alberta. Feel free to reach out to me through email or by phone if you have any questions.
